Aller Naturgewalt, unwegsamem Gelände und Schicksalsschlägen zum Trotz konnte die neue Schule von Makaldamar seine Pforten öffnen. Die kleine Grundschule für knapp 100 Kinder wurde während der Erdbeben in Nepal zerstört. Die Hilfsorganisation LiScha Himalaya hatte sich deren Neubau auf zur Mission gemacht und konnte nach einer langen und beschwerlichen Bauphase und mit Hilfe von Sponsoren wie der IST AG das Einweihungsfest feiern.
