On Thursday evening, June 15, 2017, two busses with employees of Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG in Ebnat-Kappel (CH) set out for Rožnov pod Radhoštěm in the Czech Republic to celebrate the company-internal summer party together with their Czech colleagues. Representative for the other company locations, the managing director of the US-site as well as a salesman from Ireland also were present. After a 13 hours bus ride the Swiss visitors were welcomed cordially in Rožnov. Vasek Folvarcny, head of the Rožnov pod Radhoštěm site, was pleased about the visit from Switzerland. “We are very excited about welcoming our colleagues here in the Czech Republic and look forward to presenting them our company and working methods”, said Folvarcny.

After a little refreshment the employees had the chance to get to know more about the location during a company tour. “For many employees, this is the first visit at the Czech site”, explained Peter Anderegg, CFO and head of HR of IST AG. “As an international company we think it’s important for our employees to know more about the other company sites. Like this the team spirit and the collaboration are supported”, continued Anderegg. Jörn Lützen, COO of IST AG added: “Especially in terms of production and technology know-how the sites in Ebnat-Kappel and Rožnov can benefit from each other.”

On Friday and Saturday the employees had the opportunity to socialize and explore the area around Rožnov pod Radhoštěm during various excursions. Naturally, the traditional volleyball and soccer match on Saturday afternoon was not to be omitted. After a common closing party on Saturday evening, the Swiss visitors started their journey back home to Ebnat-Kappel on Sunday morning.
