Research Scientist / Engineer for Biosensors (m/f/d)
Jobst Technologies GmbH has a globally recognized technological leadership role in biosensor technology. This technology is used in intensive care medicine and biotechnology. As a company of Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG based in Switzerland, we are the center of competence for the research, development and production of biological sensors. For its part, Innovative Sensor Technology is part of the internationally active Endress+Hauser Group.
For our location in Freiburg in Breisgau (Germany) we are looking for a Research Scientist / Engineer for Biosensors m/f/d).
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Sensor and application development of chemical and biological sensors
- Planning, preparation, and execution of development projects for industry customers in the life science secto
- Reporting and presentation of results in internal reviews as well as to customers
- Preparation, execution and documentation of experiments and its results
- Creation and contribution to reports, specifications, and SOPs
Your requirements/qualifications:
- Master or similar degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, biotechnology or similar field desire with experience in Enzyme sensors, Ion sensors, Electro chemistry, electrical measurements, polymer chemistry
- Affinity for technically related questions and usage of instruments
- Ability to work independently and problem oriented on given tasks
- Fluent in reading/writing/speaking English and Germany
