ESD-optimized RTDs
Maximize your yield
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can lead to yield losses in the manufacturing of your products or parts when you subject them to high voltage testing. To avoid the costly consequences of ESD, we strive to continuously optimize and develop ESD optimized temperature sensors to strengthen the stability of our customers' assembled systems.
Our latest generation of platinum temperature sensors achieves the best test results. Thanks to their optimized design and new process technology, our platinum temperature sensors are characterized by excellent ESD resistance. The designs have been tested according to the European Union standards, IEC/EN61000-4-2.
Best in class
Maximum drift-free voltage
Thanks to a state-of-the-art in-house ESD laboratory, we are able to test all of our sensors in-house to international standards.
Comparing iST RTDs with similarly sized products from other manufacturers has shown that the maximum drift-free voltage of iST sensors is unmatched depending on chip size and resistance.
For example, iST's Pt 100, size 232, exceeded Level 4 with a max. drift-free voltage of 10 kV.
High long-term stability
Ideal for e-mobility applications
The ESD-optimized platinum temperature sensors from iST strengthen the stability of our customers' assembled systems. The new sensors meet the requirements of highly sought-after e-mobility applications.
The new Pt100 Ω and Pt1000 Ω temperature sensors from iST are characterized by high ESD resistance and are suitable for use in electric motors, charging cables, power converters and batteries.
