Conductivity Sensor

The conductivity sensor was developed for measuring the conductivity in electrolyte. The measurement value of conductivity can be used as a quality criterion for e.g. Water. The temperature compensation is done on the applied temperature sensor element which is measuring the temperature directly at the measuring point. With our thin film technology it's possible to produce a customized conductivity sensor. Your needs are our challenge.

Current norms and laws for flow monitoring at industrial dust suctions

(EN 60335-2-69 v. 10/ 2007 und TRG 553 v. 08/ 2008)

Our customers confirm it ... Very well suitable for flow monitoring at industrial dust suctions. The Flow sensor FS5A has an optimized design for air/gas application. It works according to the approved principle of hot film anemometry. The measurement range to 50 m/s and the compact and robust construction also prefer it for use in flow monitoring for industrial dust suctions. Here the TRGS 553 (technical rules for dangerous substances - release 08/2008) prescribes particularly for wood dusts minimum air flow rates between 12 m/s and 20 m/s . Flow monitoring is also relevant for hazardous materials vacuum cleaners of the dust class M and H. By its low dimensions as well as the simple electronic evaluation the sensor can be post designed relatively easy in the air conveyance and the steering concept of existing equipment series. So norm conformity arises cost-effectively also for these products.

P14 Femto-Thermo

Capacitive Humidity- and Temperature Sensor

The P14 Femto-Thermo is a miniaturized form of our successful P14 SMD Thermo. The favourable one chip solution consists of a capacitive humidity sensor, based upon the famous P14 sensor, together with a Pt1000-sensor, at the same time. The achieved outstanding accuracy due to optimal thermal coupling makes your application top of the edge in the industry. The intrinsic high chemical resistance of the P14 together with its very high dew point temperature and operating temperature clearly put this sensor clearly to best in class.

Flow Sens FS5L

Thermal Mass Flow Sensor for all-purpose use in Liquids

The Flow Sens owns for water and water mixtures optimized design consists of two temperature depending platinum-resistors, both deposited on one chip. The low-ohm resistor with a small area is used as a heater, whereas the other high-ohm resistor serves to measure the reference temperature. Using a bridge circuit, the differing resistance value of two elements leads to different (self) heating. The (self) heating is dependent upon the applied voltage, the mass flow, and the media in which the sensor is located. Higher voltage increases self heating, a higher flow rate increases cooling. If the self heating is kept constantly by a suitable controller, the voltage increases with higher flow rates and therefore becomes a measure for the mass flow. As a result of his little thermal mass, this sensor has fast heating and cooling response times. The measuring principle of the sensor can be used for large operation ranges. The Flow Sens is also available with a plastic housing of Æ 6mm. This option provides the user with ideal opportunities to incorporate the element into custom-built applications or specific housings, e.g. into a T-piece.
