Thin film humidity sensor

The Type MK33 (PDF 99,0 kB) capacitive humidity sensor has been developed specially for high-end measuring tasks where the sensor must meet ulitmate demands. It excels through its extremely high humidity and temperature working range and its outstanding chemical resistance. The sensor is optionally available with flexible or rigid connecting wires, making it the first choice for installation in detecting probes.

Thanks to its linear characteristics and its wide range of potential uses, the P14 (PDF 75,0 kB) is the ideal humidity sensor for universal measuring tasks in a wide variety of different applications. The sensor is available in wired as well as in different SMD (PDF 99,0 kB) layouts suitable for automatic packaging. It is available as a very small SMD-version, Femto Cap. (PDF 99,0 kB)

With the P14 Thermo (PDF 122,0 kB) combination sensor, we combine our core competence in temperature and humidity sensor technology on a single chip. The integration of a high-quality platinum temperature sensor standardized under DIN EN 60751 accomplishes an excellent thermal coupling which, in turn, allows precise measurements even at very high humidity levels. This one-chip solution also offers additional benefits in applications where space is at a premium or where simple packaging is desired. It is available as a very small SMD-version, Femto Cap Thermo. For applications calling for easy exchangeability of the sensor element, we offer the P14 also as a laser-trimmed design version (P14-TR (PDF 108,0 kB)), narrowing the tolerance band of the nominal capacity to a minimum and in many cases allowing the user to make do without time-consuming calibration.

Fast response sensors are often required in applications involving meteorology or medical engineering - and not only for normal ambient conditions but also for extremely low temperatures or under dewing exposure. The P14 Rapid (PDF 105,0 kB) model combines speed and full range operation in an ideal way.

Picco series are for applications where complete modules better serve the OEM's requirements. This product line is an accumulation of the latest in state of the art electronic developments combined with our high-grade humidity sensors. These calibrated modules can be integrated directly in the application and are available with different analog Lin Picco (PDF 117,0 kB) or digital DigiPicco (PDF 136,0 kB) signal outputs.
